Joint Statement of APP Indonesia, APP China and Forest Stewardship Council

On 18 December 2007, senior representatives from Asia Pulp and Paper-China (APP China), Asia Pulp and Paper-Indonesia (APP Indonesia) and the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) met at FSC International Headquarters in Bonn, Germany to discuss the FSC's recent decision to revoke APP's rights to use the FSC trademarks.

The meeting was a constructive first step toward a mutually agreeable solution, APP and FSC plan to meet again within the next two months.
