| What are non-commercial forests and commercial forests? |
Non-commercial forests* refer to protected forests and ial forests -with a significant ecological location or a vulnerable ecological presence. They play an important role in national ecological safety, biodiversity conservation, economic and social sustainable development. Non-commercial forests mainly provide ecological and social service products. Non-commercial forests include water source restraining forests, water and soil preservation forests, wind protection and sand-shifting control forests and Back protective forests; forests in natural reserve and national defense forests, and more. In short, non-commercial forests are protected forests and ial forests with ecological benefits.
Commercial forests* consist of manually cultivated timber forests, fuel-wood forests and economic forests. Manually cultivated timber forests are artificially cultivated forests that produce timber, including artificial seeds (with air seeding and manual seeding), tree planting, cuttage plantation and forests growing out of deforested forest farms.
