Located at Suzhou Industrial Park in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, and founded in June, 2005, Gold Daio (Suzhou Industrial Park) Hygiene Products Co.,Ltd. is a joint venture of APP and Daio of Japan, ializing in production of sanitary napkin. The company started production in July, 2006, with a total investment of 29 million US dollars for the 1st phase. It is equipped with state-of-the-art full-servo production line and imported assembly facilities as well as superior test and production equipment for sanitary napkin (SERVO system).
In product portfolio of Gold Daio, "elis" (怡丽in Chinese) series high-class sanitary napkin products were first launched in Japan in 1982. In July 2006, elis made her debut here in East China market. Among the lineup of elis series, Sarasara Silk products adopt the latest revolutionary mesh material, which helps upgrade its image as a high-quality and high value-added international brand.
Founded more than 60 years ago in 1943, Daio is one of the biggest paper manufacturers in Japan. Currently Daio boasts about 70 subsidiaries and more than 10 thousand employees across the world, with an annual output of over 3 million tons and sales exceeding 345 billion yen. The Mishima plant of Daio reaches an annual output of 2 million tons, rated as the largest Paper & Pulp Integration factory in the world.
