Founded in May 1993, Zhenjiang Dadong Pulp & Paper Co., Ltd. is located in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province with an area of 300,000 square meters. It is one of the earliest factories invested by Sinar Mas Group APP in China. Backed by a total investment of USD29.99 million and fixed assets of RMB 680 million, the company has over 1,400 employees and an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons.
Dadong Pulp & Paper achieved ISO9002 and ISO 9001:2000 international quality system certification retively in December 1998 and June 2002. By investing enormously in its wastewater treatment system, the company became a leading enterprise in minimising water consumption for 1 ton of paper produced and was awarded Advanced Unit in Reduction of Energy Consumption within the paper-making industry in Jiangsu province in 2002.
Dadong Pulp & Paper is appointed one of the suppliers for tax vouchers by State Administration of Taxation. It also ializes in producing high quality paper and materials for paper cups. The tax voucher and NCR base papers (anti-counterfeit) produced by Dadong have been given the Hi-Tech Product Award in Jiangsu province. Other products like base materials for paper cups, aluminum foil backing paper, neutralized ultra-white offset paper, and paper for copiers have been awarded High Quality Product in Jiangsu province as well as passed the National Quality Standards Testing And Certification by China Association for Quality.
